LANDSCAPING 0.2 - DAS UNKARTIERTE LAND

LandScaping 0.2 – das unkartierte Land takes a choreographic look at the co-existence between humans and non-human living beings through the collaboration of an ensemble of performers and plants. How can plants dance; and how can humans practice becoming more like plants?

The background of this creation was a long-term research in the Amazonian landscape around Santarém, developed by the choreographer in her home country Brazil in 2020. This immersive experience drove her to explore the relationship between body and living environment, inspired by pre-colonial knowledges and practices of South American First Nations communities. This work reflects the attempt of deal with these different inputs, inside a contemporary artistic context.
